Sunflower Meadows is a premier Hunter, Jumper, and Eventing facility in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. We offer top quality training for your horse and instruction and show experiences for beginner through advanced riders. Our mission is to promote confidence, responsibility, and teamwork in the next generation of equine athletes.

Services

Our training team has a combined 80 years of experience, which they put into creating tailored programs for each horse and rider. In addition to the services listed below, we also offer riding clubs in partnership with local organizations; horse showing at the local, regional, and national levels; and options to sell, lease, or rehome horses and ponies.

Where horsemanship meets history

Sunflower Meadows Equestrian is located on the historic Sandy Point Farm. Sandy Point was constructed in 1902 by Reginald Vanderbilt, the founding president of the United States Equestrian Federation.
